After a Master’s degree in biology, I obtained a PhD in Neuroscience with Pr Rossetti as supervisor (title: Cognitive after-effects of prism adaptation: from pseudoneglect to neglect). I became associate professor in 2004 in the INSERM laboratory in the Faculty of Sport Science in Dijon. I am in charge of the Bachelor’s programme in Adapted Sport Activity and Health.



My research has been focused on sensorimotor plasticity, in particular on the sensorimotor and cognitive after-effects of prism adaptation. The research revealed for the first time the existence of cognitive after-effects of prism adaptation in healthy individuals, similar to neglect-like symptoms. I have also been interested in the processes involved in the development of adaptation as the reduction of awareness of sensorimotor conflict, in the use of motor imagery, and in combining adaptation with stimulation by neck muscle vibration. In addition, my research interests include studies of the asymmetric brain organization of visuo-spatial functions, in healthy individuals, stroke patients, patients with schizophrenia and children with dyslexia.
