Physiologie de l’Action et de la Perception

Thierry Pozzo est professeur de neurosciences à l’Université de Bourgogne et membre honoraire de l’institut Universitaire de France. Sa recherche conduite au sein de l’unité INSERM 1093 Cognition-Action et plasticité cérébrale, tient compte de récentes avancées en neurosciences qui suggèrent un étroit couplage entre Action et Perception. Il soutient l’hypothèse que la cognition s’ancre dans le vécu corporel des individus contrairement à la métaphore du cerveau calculateur. C’est dans ce cadre théorique qu’il poursuit une réflexion sur les mécanismes cérébraux responsables de la production des actions et de la perception du monde vivant. L’étroitesse de ces questions et les normes imposées par la science l’ont convaincu depuis plusieurs années d’étendre sa réflexion au domaine de la perception des images et aux contaminations réciproques entre Art et Sciences.
